Rex debut and other news

hey folks!

The Socialist Night School debuted Saturday afternoon at the Rex to a fantastic crowd of people – I’m super happy to say that the show went really well & we will hopefully be back at the Rex sometime in the summer! Thanks to everyone who came out and supported us and sent their love; we had a great time and we’re looking forward to being back. If you didn’t manage to check it out, I’m working on getting some video up; check back in the next week or so to hear a clip of how it went!

And don’t fear – we’re not going into hiding! Chelsea & the Cityscape and the Socialist Night School are sharing an evening show for my birthday (!) on Tuesday, January 15 at the Humber College auditorium. The best part? It’s FREE! So definitely come check it out.

I’m also stoked to announce DMDP‘s residency at the Sister – 10pm on the second Thursday of the month, starting on January 10! Cover is $5 as usual, but it’s a great way to spend your Thursday night, so come keep us company! Our first show is going to be with newly-formed Snaggle, who you can check out here.

That’s all for now, but keep your eyes peeled – there will be more to come, including news of Chelsea & the Cityscape’s upcoming EP release! I’ll be sure to keep you in the loop; check back for more info! 🙂
