The gig roundup: June 20-July 5, 2015 (festival edition!)

Hey folks!

Festival season has arrived, and because I want to make sure I post all the cool stuff happening, here it all is in one place:

June 20: I’m playing a private party with the ladies of Elton Joan. But don’t worry – we’re actually back in August, at the Woodbridge Ribfest, where we’ll be playing all Elton, all the time.

June 23: Toronto Jazz Festival day! Come see my Socialist Night School at Nathan Phillips Square at 6:30pm, followed by Chelsea and the Cityscape at Habits Gastropub at 11pm. Music at Habits starts at 9pm, where we share the stage with Arlene Paculan and the Cool Ones and Kendal Thompson. Details for that whole day are here!

June 25: I return to the Toronto Jazz Festival to play some original tunes with Scott Hunter and Chris Platt as the Chelsea McBride Group. Details for that one are here – we’re back with Arlene, Brent Miller Live and the Chris Platt Trio!

June 26-27: The Brad Cheeseman Group is releasing an album (in case you didn’t already know) and we’ll be kicking off the CD release tour in Ottawa at Options Jazz Lounge! Details for those two nights are here.

July 1: Two things happen: first, I take the stage with Turbo Street Funk at Ripley’s Aquarium all morning, then the Brad Cheeseman Group plays our official CD release show at the Rex that night! BCG CD release details are here.

July 2: The Brad Cheeseman Group wraps up our tour at Artword Artbar with the Tom Altobelli Group. That’s a slightly earlier show featuring a lot of Hamilton’s hometown boys – we’re really excited to be ending things there! Details for that are here.

July 3-5: I’m up at Mariposa Folk Festival with the Turbo Street Funk boys! Details on their website – we’re doing a bunch of stuff while we’re up there, so you’ll have plenty of chances to hear me play some bari!

See you at a show 🙂
