The gig roundup: August 22-30, 2015

Well, here it is – the last little bit of summer. If you’re signed up for the mailing list (if not, sign up here), then you’ll be getting September updates soon! But in the meantime, my next few gigs are all with Turbo Street Funk. Here’s where you can find us:

August 22: At 12:30pm, we take the stage at the Creemore Springs Copper Kettle Festival to play a set for you folks. I’m getting to see a lot of the different corners of Ontario this month, so hopefully I’ll see some friendly faces out – I’ve never been to the Copper Kettle Festival before…

August 28: Catch Turbo first at the Toronto International Buskerfest during the afternoon, and then finish your night at Monarch’s Pub, where we’ll be playing from 9-1. We’ll be back at Monarch’s through the fall, though not super frequently; be sure to catch us for our last night of the summer there!

August 30: If you missed all the other stuff, Turbo closes out the weekend with a set at the Union Summer Market at Sir John A MacDonald Plaza.

And of course, we just released a music video and a single out into the world! You can download “Whoever You Are” here, and watch the video for “To The Street” here:

For those of you waiting for more news on my projects, don’t worry: I’ve got jazz festival videos that are all going to be released in the next few weeks, and we’ll have plenty more shows coming up in the fall! In the meantime, though – hope to see you dancing in the crowd. 🙂
