Spectrum Music presents: Tales of the Unconscious

For our second concert of the season, myself and the team at Spectrum Music are thrilled to partner with Musicata (under the direction of Roger Bergs) for Tales of the Unconscious, a program we are presenting twice over the course of the next weekend.

Tales of the Unconscious is a journey behind the veil of the conscious mind and into the hidden world of the unconscious. Our vehicle: dreams. Why we dream is still one of humanity’s greatest unanswered questions. Nevertheless, people continue mining their nighttime reveries for clues to their inner lives, premonitions, and creative insight.  The Spectrum composers take the latter to the extreme as they premiere whimsical and adventurous new music for classical choir and jazz trio. The concert opens with a pre-concert chat by Craig Webb, a dream analyst/author/researcher/inventor for 3 decades as well as a widely-traveled speaker and musical artist.
