The Chelsea McBride Group, led by the eponymous Chelsea McBride, performs everything from straight ahead jazz classics to original compositions influenced equally by jazz and pop music. Driven by an endless need for expressing herself creatively, young composer and multi-instrumentalist Chelsea McBride has burst onto the Toronto jazz scene. She has worked alongside many local jazz artists including Colleen Allen and William Carn. In this more intimate small-group setting, Chelsea’s warm sound and melodic sensibility get a chance to shine – bringing the perfect mood to any event.
